Janmashtami, celebrating the birth of Lord Krishna, was celebrated with devotion and enthusiasm at Excellent CBSE School on 24th August 2024. The programme was coordinated by the Cultural Club and began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Academic Director Mr. Pushpa Raj, followed by the welcome address by Academic Coordinator Mr. ShriPrasad.

Students and teachers offered prayers to Lord Krishna, followed by a fancy dress competition and dance performances. The highlight of the celebration was the captivating presentation of Krishna’s Kalinga episode. Students from LKG to V Standard actively participated in the celebrations.

Prizes were also distributed to students who excelled in academics, sports, arts, Scouts, Guides, Cubs, Bulbul, Karate, Spell Bee and other activities. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks by Swathi K.S., who expressed gratitude to everyone for making the celebration a grand success.
